Scalado nominated in GSMA’s Mobile Innovation Grand Prix EMEA Tournament
With a global presence spanning the USA, Europe and Asia, Scalado has earned a worldwide reputation for providing mobile imaging software solutions that are powerful, scalable and modular for any camera phone. Scalado already lists the top five tier 1 mobile phone manufacturers as its licensees, and has doubled both its revenue and its total number of staff in the last year, thanks to its ongoing expansion in both Europe and Asia. By adopting Scalado’s technologies, manufacturers are drastically reducing development and device costs and significantly shortening time to market. For this reason, more than 350 million mobile phone handsets now feature Scalado software.

Over two days, ten nominees from around the world will present their products and services in front of an esteemed judging panel and a global audience at the GSMA Mobile Innovation EMEA Event in Barcelona, 17th-19th June 2009. The two overall winners will be competing as a Finalist for the Mobile Innovation Grand Prix Cup as part of the GSMA’s Global Mobile Awards at the leading event for the mobile communications industry, the Mobile World Congress, in February 2010.
