Håkan Persson
CEO
Mr Håkan Persson has more than 25 years of international sales and management experience from the IT industry. He started his career with IBM back in 1985 and returned to IBM in 2008 as a result of the acquisition of Telelogic AB. At IBM he was appointed Director and Business Unit Executive responsible for IBM Software Group in Sweden. During his career Mr. Persson has held managerial positions with several companies such as Telia and AU-System, been CEO of Aspiro – a listed company on the Stockholm stock exchange and President of Market Division EMEA at Telelogic. One of Mr Perssons trademarks has been to develop, build and/or restructure businesses. With Telia he was commercially responsible for the launch of mobile telephony in Denmark and also started one of the first mobile portals, “Speedy Tomato”. As CEO of Aspiro he restructured the company and acquired several companies in the Nordic market to create a consolidated entity for content provisioning. Mr Persson holds a B.sc in International Business Administration and Management.
Fadi Abbas
CMO/VP Business Development
Mr Fadi Abbas has an entrepreneurial background and has been involved in many successful business ventures in the Middle East, Balkan, East Europe and now Scandinavia. Mr Abbas, through his solid business and technology background played a very important role in laying the foundation of Scalado™. Mr Abbas led Scalado's strategy and R&D activities, building the structure of the company and managed the realization of the company's product roadmaps, visions and strategies. Mr Abbas holds a master degree in computer science and engineering from Lund Institute of technology and an MBA degree from Gävle university.
Sami Niemi
CTO
Mr Sami Niemi spearheads the company's advanced technology initiatives. He is the inventor of a number of patented technologies that Scalado™ utilizes in their products. He has previously worked in a number of different technology companies, as well as startups. Mr. Niemi holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Lund Institute of Technology, and NCSU.
Bo-Göran Jaxelius
CFO
Mr Bo-Göran Jaxelius became CFO in September 2007 bringing several years of professional experience in business administration and financing of software companies within the telecom industry. His most recent position was as Director of Finance and Administration with Zi Corporation, a multinational company group delivering intelligent interface solutions for mobile devices. Prior to this he was the CFO of Decuma AB (Publ). He started his professional career as an Auditor with Deloitte, practising during 5 year as an external auditor in Sweden. He was also a part of the Deloitte Enterprise Risk Services consulting group. Mr. Jaxelius holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration and Economics from Lund University.
Ulf Christiansson
VP Software Engineering
Mr Ulf Christiansson brings 20 years of software development and management experience from companies such as Sigma, Spotfire, AT&T Unisource and Telia. At Spotfire he was responsible for setting up and managing the Software Engineering department in Boston, MA. Mr. Christiansson holds a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
Roger Carlhammar
VP Global Sales
Mr Roger Carlhammar previously spent 7 years with a Nasdaq company called Software Spectrum, the major reseller of Microsoft license programs and solutions, having helped their HQ in building the European arm from scratch, and develop it in a 90M$ entity, position Regional Director EMEA. Left to spend 5 years at AU-Systems, that later was acquired by Teleca. Occupied a number of positions, like CEO Teleca International. Left to take over running the mobile business Opera Software, as EVP Opera Mobile. Spent last two years at Swiss start-up Phiware Voice, developing services of web vocalization based on cloud technology. Mr Carlhammar holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm University, he has also studied Mathématiques Supérieures at Buffon, Paris.
Thomas Bergström
Director Professional Services
Thomas Bergström joined Scalado in 2008 and has been responsible for building the Professional Services organization within Scalado. Mr Bergström brings more than 15 years of software development and project management experience from companies such as Sony Ericsson, Teleca, Aspiro, ABB and Alfa Laval. At Teleca he was responsible for a number of large mobile handsets projects towards customers in Japan and the US. He also had a key role in starting up the Teleca Project Management Office. Mr. Bergström holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Lund Institute of Technology.
Lovisa Wang-Sanfridsson
HR Manager
Lovisa Wang-Sanfridsson has several years of experience from specialist recruitment and competence management within the IT sector. After several years of collaboration with Scalado as an external consultant Mrs Wang-Sanfridsson became HR Manager in March 2010. Her most recent position was as a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Elan IT a subsidiary to Manpower Inc. Mrs Wang-Sanfridsson holds a B.Sc degree in Human Resources Management from Lund University.
